About

Hi! We have made this blog to share ideas that we have involving teaching our children.  Our hope is that these ideas will encourage you to try them or improve on them. We welcome any tips to improve our ideas or other applications to use them in. We also may post ideas that we have and need your help to complete or figure out the correct application. We want this to be a sharing blog, so please let us know what you think of what you see and please share your ideas!! Our topics, I am sure will cover a broad range from Bible time, school time, craft time, and whatever else we come up with to do with our children!! As we know the possibilities are endless when playing and growing!

We are Christians, Sisters, Mamas, and Friends!! We met a long time ago through our wonderful husbands.  They were very smart and married us, so we became sisters.  We are now friends, mamas, and most importantly Christians.  🙂

I am Jennifer Donovant.  I have been a Christian since 2009, Mama since 2008, Sister to Jessica since 2006, and a Homemaker since 2012.  I just enjoy spending time with my little girl coming up with things to do.  We walk the Main Street of our town, go to the library, bake, paint, do crafts, and play.  I absolutely love my job of being a wife, and mommy, I can’t imagine anything better.  We have a wonderful physical family that we love and a wonderful spiritual family that we love! I don’t know what we would do without  either of them.  I try very hard to teach Kaitlyn about God and what He would have us to do, because once we put him first everything else just falls into place 🙂

Hey y’all, I’m Jessica Donovant. I am thankful to be a Christian, to have salvation and an eternal home prepared for me in Heaven, and I’m so humbled to be a servant of the One who died for me, and a child to my Heavenly Father, who bestows blessing upon blessing, strength, grace, and mercy upon me and my family. I became a Mrs. in 2004 when I married my wonderful husband, and in 2008 and 2010, I became a mama to my two precious sons. Life is pretty busy and at times, eventful, taking care of my 3 guys, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have been a stay-at-home mama and wife (my dream job!) since 2011. Before the dream became a reality, I spent my days as a special education teacher. Although a stay-at-home mama now, I have found myself back in the teacher’s chair as I homeschool my oldest son in preschool (and also my 2 year old, who is getting an early start to his preschooling!)  Above all, as a Christian parent, I am commanded to bring my children up “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Eph.6:4). I am blessed to have an awesome support group of Christian family and friends who help make this journey stronger and brighter. As a family, we love to do arts and crafts, cook/bake, explore nature in God’s world, snuggle up together and read books, play games, roughhouse (we have boys, you know!), and most importantly, sing songs of praise to God and study His word! I am so thankful to be sharing in this blogging adventure with my sweet sister, Jennifer! It is our prayer that this blog will be a benefit to you…we know it will be for us! “Whatever your hands find to do, do it with your might” (Ecc. 9:10).
